My artworks are rooted in self-awareness forged through trial. They carry a message of resilience and self-preservation, born from my own experiences. As a child with a clean slate, I found myself at 4 without my biological mother due to mental illness, lost my father at 1 4, lost my step mother due to cancer and my younger brother at 20. Alongside these losses, I battled a lifelong condition affecting my legs, unresolved by doctors.
In the midst of fire, I sought to know who I am in God's eyes, encouraging myself daily that I am of high value. I constantly defy my disability and negativity, wearing a crown of positivity in my mind. Refusing to let my trials destroy me, the more they
burn, the more they purify me, like gold in fire.
My spirit shines like gold, unyielding and indestructible. The difficulties of life didn't kill me; they made me stronger. I've learned to focus on the beautiful things God gave me,
rather than the pain. Let us never stop gazing at ourselves, just as we would admire
a masterpiece on the wall. Let us never stop seeing the beauty and wealth that lies within us
