This sculpture represents mother earth as woman and elephant matriarch and impala lily (Adenium multiflorum) forest all interconnected. The linear blue network at the base represents mycelium – the underground network that allow trees in forests to communicate with each other. The Oleander Hawkmoth (Daphnis nerii) represented is one of the known pollinators of the impala lily a beautiful example of the interconnected web of life that allows nature to flourish.
