‘The world is a chaotic and challenging place to understand, it offers opportunities for growth and learning but also loss and misplacement. My artwork is a focus. It lets me rest, lets me rejuvenate and lets me unravel ideas and confusions that I have. Papercutting is a slow and very delicate process – in opposition to my character. I am hasty, volatile, and passionate but when I am cutting, I breathe a bit slower and give myself a chance to catch my breath. Within my works, you will find me.’
