Kate Shand is an HPCSA registered Art Therapist (MA Art Therapy). She runs a ceramic teaching studio, the Melville Mudroom. Kate is a research associate at Wits University and is lecturing part-time at the University of Johannesburg (Art Therapy programme).
Nina Shand runs a pottery teaching studio, the Melville Mudroom.Nina has been hand building with clay since 1996. With her late husband, potter Paul de Jongh, she established and ran Millstone Pottery.
