Born in in 1959 in Israel, Talia Goldsmith studied art at the Kalisher school of Art in Tel Aviv, thereafter arrived in South Africa in 1984.Her practice is influenced by her Yemeni roots and life in South Africa, Talia is fascinated with found materials, infusing her work with unusual and unique combinations of new and recycled items.
